Meet The Board
Nicole Luety - President
Nicole Luety grew up in Janesville, WI on her family’s crop farm. She attended the University of Wisconsin – Platteville where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business with an emphasis in Commodity and Price Analysis and completed a minor in Business Administration. While attending college, Nicole worked on UW-Platteville Pioneer Research Farm for three years in the dairy program. Upon graduating in 2015, she accepted a job with The DeLong Co., Inc. in Clinton, WI, and teamed up with Silveus Insurance Group as an agent.
Today, employed at Martin Crop Services LLC as a Pioneer Seed Sales Associate in Caledonia, IL, she continues to work with Silveus as a licensed crop insurance agent in WI, IL, and IA. Apart from work, Nicole currently serves as a member on the board of directors for the Ag Business Council of Rock County. She is also a third-generation crop farmer in Rock County, WI, and she farms with her husband, Paul, and his family.
gary punzel - vice president
Gary grew up on a farm near Edgerton raising livestock along with grain crops and tobacco. He has spent a career in banking. Now currently a financial officer at Compeer Financial in Janesville. A position he has had since 2008.
Now he and his family reside near Janesville. In his off time Gary grows corn and soybeans on the family farm. Currently Gary is the Vice-President of the board.
Dane Trustem
Dane Trustem is the 6th generation at Larson Acres, multi-generational family-owned dairy in Evansville, Wis. Dane works hard on various aspects of the farm including crops and project development. He is a 2020 graduate of the UW-Madison Short Course with certificate in Farm Management. Additionally, Dane actively participates in several local watershed groups.
Christine Jones
Christine Jones grew up in Tiffany, WI. She attended Carroll College where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and emphasis in Science. Following graduation, she taught for a short time and then shifted to a career in agriculture, working at the DeLong Co., Inc and Seneca Foods. She found her calling in Ag Banking with Town Bank in 2015 where she continues to work with farmers today.
Christine enjoys helping her family sell homegrown produce at the Beloit Farmer’s Market and planting hanging baskets in their greenhouses in the spring. She her husband, Josh, grow a few acres of cash crops in Shopiere, WI. Christine is a member of the Wisconsin Bankers Association- Ag Bankers Section and serves on the board of directors for the Ag Business Council of Rock County.
megan nass
Megan grew up on a small farm outside of Darien, WI, where she spent summers working with horses and pigs to show at the fair. She now lives in Clinton, WI, and has worked at Johnson Tractor in Janesville since 2017. As Treasurer, Megan enjoys combining her farm background with her professional experience to help support the board.
